Corporate Derby

You are invited to the Boy Scouts of America, Mid-America Council’s Corporate Pinewood Derby. This is you and your company’s chance to see who can build the fastest pinewood derby car, competing with other companies locally and nationally. This is fantastic and fun way to support Scouting. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Boy Scouts of America, Mid-America Council.  Come be a part of something special and help us continue to make Scouting fun, rewarding, and a foundation of character development in our communities.

How: For $250 (tax-deductible donation) your company or organization will be entered into the race.Click here and... Print this Flyer - Fill it out and You will receive a Pinewood Derby Kit to design and Pit Crew Passes to attend the event where hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

Rules: Very simple and easy. Car must not weigh more than 5.0 ounces. Dimensions 2.75” wide by 7” long by no taller than 6.5”. No propulsion allowed powered by gravity only.

Schedule:

  • 5:00pm Check In
  • 5:30pm Hors D’ Oeuvres
  • 6:00pm Racing Begins

 Each Entry Will Receive:

  • Pinewood Derby Kit
  • Pit Crew Passes
  • Recognition in Mid America Pinewood Derby  “Program and Promotions”  

Prizes Will Be Awarded:

  • Fastest Car will receive a Traveling Corporate Cub to Display
  • Additional Prizes for 2nd & 3rd Place, and Awards for Most Creative & Slowest Car.
This is a fun and exciting way to help show your support of Scouts and the Mid-America Council. You can enter as many cars as you would like. This can be an excellent team building activity for you and your company. The Mid America Pinewood Derby is a fantastic venue to come race your pinewood derby on the most cutting edge equipment, track, and all in support of Scouting.
